Alaska elevator and escalator codes
The State of Alaska AK Division of Labor Standards and Safety Elevator Section oversees all elevators in the State of Alaska. The elevator safety program oversees new and existing elevators. In addition, the Elevator Inspection Section enforces contractor Licensing. All new elevator are initially inspected and existing elevators are inspected annually.
