The State of Kentucky KY Division of Building Codes Enforcement Elevator Section oversees all elevators in the State of Kentucky. The Kentucky Elevator Inspection Section approves plans and specifications and issues permits for the installation of all new, altered or relocated elevators, freight elevators, escalators in the state of Kentucky.
