The State of Minnesota MN Construction Codes and Licensing Division Elevator Section oversees all elevators in the State of Minnesota. Minnesota's elevator inspection and operation codes include: ASME A17.1-2004 with the ASME A17.1A Addenda, the Supplement ASME A17.1S-2005, ASME A17.3-2002, ASME A18.1-2005, and ASME A17.5-2004.
